In this video, I’ll be sharing some field recording tips so can go out and record better sound effects while avoiding common mistakes.
There’s a lot to learn when it comes to field recording: What mics to use, when to use them, how to position them, how close/far should you be from the source, how to get clean and quiet recordings, etc.
Over the past few years, I’ve learned a lot about recording sound effects…some things through trial and error, and others I’ve learned from professionals in the field.
In this video, I’d like to share tips for recording sound effects so you can avoid mistakes I’ve made and jump straight to recording better sounds.
