Sound Designer’s Starter Pack (free): https://daviddumaisaudio.com/starterpack

In this video, I share how to edit and prepare field recordings to use as sound effects in your projects.

Recording your own sound effects is an integral part of being a sound designer. You can learn so much about sound design by going through the process of recording, editing, and designing your own sound sources.

Recently, my family and I took a week off and went to a family friend’s farm for a week. During that time I was able to capture cool sounds including animal recordings, ambiences, among other farm sounds.

In this video, I’ll be showing you how I go about editing all these different sound sources so they are ready to use in future projects.

If this was valuable to you, please consider sharing it!
