Sound Designer’s Starter Pack (free): https://daviddumaisaudio.com/starterpack
If you are struggling with productivity and being able to work quickly within your DAW, then I may have the solution you are looking for.
The Elgato Stream Deck (affiliate) is a macro pad with buttons that can be assigned to any hotkey, program, website, multi-action, mouse action, and so many other processes that could not all be listed here.
It’s really a powerhouse of a tool that I have been using for the past 2-3 years and I don’t know that I could ever go back to working without it. (It’s really that good!)
It can easily save you hours of work every week, PLUS, because all the buttons are pre-programmed, they don’t make human errors (unless of course, you program it wrong…it’s really easy to program btw)
In this week’s video, I want to share with you exactly how I use the Elgato Stream Deck as part of my sound design workflow within Reaper as well as RX.
In this video, we’ll go over:
- My personal Stream Deck setup that you can copy and use for yourself
- How you can use the Stream Deck as part of your sound design work
- Use cases for the Stream Deck within Reaper and RX by iZotope
- Workflows with the Stream Deck
If this was valuable to you, please consider sharing it!
