FREE 5 Layering techniques guide for sound designers: https://sfx.daviddumaisaudio.com/layering

I’m always skeptical of new plugins that are released that claim to make your sounds ‘better’ or in this case ‘louder’.If I really wanted to, could I not just turn up the volume on my sample, or put on a maximizer, distortion, or saturation. So, does Boom Library’s newest plugin actually bring anything new or innovative to the table?

Let’s find out!

In this video, I try out Uberloud by Boom Library. I downloaded the trial version of the plugin and decided to test it out by doing a redesign of the heavy canon from the game Doom Eternal. Enjoy!
